The design fullfills the brief requirements of: toilet and hand washing facilities, a minimum 4m high amenities platform with disability compliant ramps, water tanks, septic treatment system and associated maintenance access.

The form, sweeping and folding, creates an ever changing vision for passing traffic and pedestrians, creating interest and inviting exploration. The curving form and transparent materials optimise views "into" and "out of" the building maximising movement and surveillance. Form and function marry seamlessly.

The addition of a viewing platform provides a destination, the ramp acts as a journey, services are veiled behind curved mesh, and the facility becomes a local landmark, a place to stop.
